What is Stroller Strides®?

Stroller Strides is a total fitness program that moms do with their babies, taught by certified instructors Marci Terris and Katie Bryan. This unique program provides moms with the opportunity to exercise, meet other moms, engage in playgroups with their babies, and to form lasting friendships. Stroller Strides is designed to give mothers the "Strength for Motherhood!"

Very simply, bring your stroller-age child in a stroller to our Mommy & Me fitness class. Baby bumps welcome!

How do I sign up for class?

Click on "ENROLL". Select the location where you would like to attend. Click on the date that you would like to attend and click "Enroll". You will be redirected to a registration page.

If you have not enrolled prior to class or signed the class waiver electronically, you will be able to do so on location before class.

How do I start?

Arrive at all classes 10 minutes before start time. Bring your baby, stroller, floor mat and lots of water!

What do I need for class?

We suggest athletic shoes, a towel or mat for our ground exercises and plenty of water. For outdoor classes, please bring a hat and/or sunblock. For Stroller Strides, just about any stroller will do, as long as it's not prone to tipping. You do not have to have a jogger.

What if the weather is bad?

We will only cancel classes in extreme weather conditions. Please check our web page or Facebook page for weather related changes.

What do I do if my child gets fussy during class?

Our first priority is the happiness of your child. Tend to your child(ren) first. We stop every few minutes for body toning, so you can always catch up with us if you get behind. We will do our very best to make the class enjoyable for both you and your child(ren)! We do ask that the children remain in the stroller for the duration of class to ensure safety for all.

How old does my baby have to be?

We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 6 weeks of age to begin class and up to any age as long as they still enjoy a ride in the stroller. Always get your doctor's permission before starting this or any other kind of exercise program.

How long are the workouts?

The workouts are 50 minutes long. The class is set up with a 5-minute warm up followed by a series of walking, jogging and strength exercises. You do NOT have to be a runner. ALL fitness levels are welcome. We will ensure that you ease into the program and that you exercise based on your fitness level.

I'm a fit dad. Can I participate in Stroller Strides?

Of course!!! Stroller Strides has been designed to give moms and dads the strength for parenthood by enabling you to exercise with your children in tow while connecting with other parents.

Are the instructors certified and insured?


Marci and Katie completed the Stroller Strides® & Fit4Baby® Instructor Training, passed their written exam and earned their certification in February 2013.

Instructor Training includes the basics of anatomy, kinesiology, physiology and exercise science along with exercise programming specific to the prenatal and postnatal client.
